For us, it’s about making a difference.
Cazalys - Palmerston Club has contributed over $10 million back into the local community, through cash donations since the Club was established in the year 1999. This has been a massive financial help to local sporting groups and charitable organisations and something the Club’s Board, and General Manager, Matthew Hewer, are very excited about.
“To be able to contribute over 10 million dollars back into the local community is something very special, and is a testament to the wonderful support provided by members that frequent the Club and also to the immense effort shown by our staff each and every day.”
“The Board are very focused on providing as much support as possible to the broad spectrum of Palmerston programs and associations seeking assistance, and the Club is indeed committed to strengthening this area of the Club’s charter in the future.”
The Sponsorships & Donations program contributions were widespread over Sporting and Recreation Associations, Local Schools, Charity and Welfare Organisations and Local Community Programs all directly benefiting.
Peter Buttfield, from Palmerston Cricket Club, Affiliate Member and benefactor of the Cazalys Sponsorship & Donations program, said the funding was vital to the continued success of local sporting programs.
“We are extremely grateful and humbled by the continued support from Cazalys,” Mr Buttfield said.
“Cazalys has assisted with the purchase of much needed sporting equipment and upgrades to facilities, as well as continuing the naming rights to our home ground, ‘Cazalys Cricket Ground’,” Mr Buttfield said.
